Booking your trip through Devyn Perry Travel does not cost you anymore than booking yourself (and in a lot of cases less) and provides a tremendous amount of value:
- Crisis Management - If there was no other reason to use a travel agent and have ever had to deal with an emergency while travelling this alone is probably reason enough for you. Using a travel agent gives you the ability to continue enjoying your trip while someone else manages any unforeseen issues.
- Time Savings - There are those who like planning and those who do not. For non-planners, the hours you save having an expert complete the work for you is exponential. For planners, using an agent allows you to spend your time focused on the areas you enjoy, augmented by supplying you with information from sources you may not have access to and managing the logistics you are less interested in.
- Full Visibility To Options - A lot of people don't realize that as soon as you visit the website of a destination or hotel, once you continue to search you will be shown content related to the website you visited instead of the full spectrum of options. Because you've shown interest, Google thinks you want to see more and will prioritize showing you favourable content related to the company of the original website versus showing you the full breadth of options that could potentially be a better fit. We work with all types of travellers and bring value to our extremely seasoned clients as well as to those less experienced looking for full guidance.
What costs are associated with your services?
We do not charge service fees for booking any travel with the exception of if we are only booking flights and no accommodations (and we still only charge $25 a flight).
This means that for the same cost you would pay for your trip if you booked yourself (and in a lot of cases less), you have someone planning, executing and managing any crisis (when necessary) at no cost to you.
Do you have a process you follow?
We have an established process that we leverage across all trips:
- We start with a brief (video, phone or email) to understand the trip details.
- We conduct thorough research and then share a presentation on the elements requested that will include extensive information and multiple options.
- We check all travel requirements including visas and any health related requirements.
- We book everything using your credit card (and include any loyalty memberships numbers).
- Everything is incorporated into a mobile friendly travel itinerary that houses all details, confirmations and information.
- We contact all suppliers immediately before the date to ensure everything is reconfirmed.
- We provide our contact information to you and are available for support until the moment you arrive home.

How do you make sure you are recommending the best options for me?
We start the process with a brief where clients provide parameters and budgets. We take a partner neutral approach to ensure we are providing the lowest price available particularly if multiple partners sell the same product.
When is the best time to book my trip?
The earlier you can book your trip, the better it is for you. The volume of travel continues to increase at a rapid pace and costs are based on supply and demand. The first seat or room is always the lowest priced and continues to increase as inventory is sold. The optimal time is a year in advance but as this is not often an option the next best answer is as soon as you can. Refundable options are often available if you require flexibility.
Can I cancel a trip that I book through your agency?
Our cancellation policies are the same as if you book yourself. We ensure that all details are clearly communicated in advance of booking.
